Promo prices by time of day (happy hour)
Give menu items or whole categories a promo price: a percentage off, an amount off or a special price, on chosen days, times, branches and at the POS or on QR ordering. Promo prices apply by themselves when an item is rung up, and you can see what each promotion gave away.
Create a promo price
On Settings › Promotions, tap "New promotion", name it, choose the kind of discount (% off, baht off or a special price), pick the categories or items, then set the days and times. The screen sums the rule up in one sentence and shows an example price before you save.
Steps
- Open Settings › Promotions and tap "New promotion"
- Name it, choose the kind of discount and enter the number
- Choose the categories or items it applies to
- Pick a date range (optional) and the times on each day, or "All day, every day"
- Check the summary and the example price, then tap "Save promotion"
Good to know
- A promo price applies to the item's price only; options keep their full price.
- A promotion never makes an item free: when the discount is the item's price or more, that item keeps its regular price.
Promo prices at the POS and on QR ordering
During a promotion, the items in it show a "Promo" badge with the regular price struck through. When an item is rung up the promo price applies by itself: the cashier enters no discount and needs no manager PIN. The receipt shows the promotion's name and the saving. When an item qualifies for several promotions, the guest gets the lowest price.
Good to know
- The time is the system clock in the branch's time zone when the item is rung up; an item ordered before a promotion ends keeps its promo price.
- Orders from delivery apps never get in-store promo prices.
Bill offers (spend and save)
Create a promotion and choose "Bill offer (spend and save)": enter the minimum spend per bill, then baht off, or a percentage off with an optional maximum. When a bill reaches the minimum the discount appears by itself as its own line with the promotion's name; if items are taken off and the bill drops below it, the discount goes away. A cashier can tap "Remove" without a PIN, and "Apply bill offer" to put it back.
Steps
- Open Settings › Promotions, tap "New promotion" and choose "Bill offer (spend and save)"
- Enter the minimum spend per bill and the baht or percentage off
- Choose the days, times, branches and channels, then tap "Save promotion"
Good to know
- The minimum is counted on the bill's items before VAT and before a staff discount or loyalty points. The discount is taken before VAT.
- When the bill has promo-price items that cannot be combined with the bill offer, the guest always gets whichever saves more, whatever was rung first: those items count at their regular price for the minimum, and the bill offer is reduced by their promo savings (its line says "after item promo savings"). When the promo prices save as much or more, the bill offer does not appear and the screen says it is not combined.
- A bill gets at most one bill offer: the one that saves the guest the most. Days and times are judged at checkout.
- Editing or deleting the promotion later never changes a paid bill. Delivery-app orders never get it.
- A coupon or game reward the guest earned always applies; a bill offer that cannot be combined with it steps aside.
- Splitting a bill equally keeps the bill offer, shared out, as long as each part's own items still reach its share of the minimum spend; splitting by items makes separate bills that each need the minimum spend.
- When some items are returned and the items the guest keeps no longer reach the minimum spend, the bill offer is clawed back from the refund; the screen shows the exact refund and the clawback before you confirm.
- If the screen says the items cannot be returned because the offer clawed back is the refund or more, return more items or refund the whole bill.
Discount codes (coupons) with use limits and expiry
Create a promotion and choose "Discount code (coupon)": one shared code (e.g. HAPPY50), or many single-use codes you generate and download as a CSV to print. Set baht or percentage off, an optional minimum spend, how many times it can be used in total or per member, and the expiry date. The cashier enters the code in the checkout's adjustments tab with no PIN; guests can enter it on the QR bill page when the QR channel is on. While a code limited per member is on a bill, its member cannot be changed or removed -- take the code off first.
Steps
- Open Settings › Promotions, tap "New promotion" and choose "Discount code (coupon)"
- Choose the code type, enter the code, the discount, the minimum spend and the use limits
- Put the expiry date in the end date, then tap "Save promotion"
- Single-use codes: tap "Generate codes", then "Download CSV to print"
Good to know
- Codes ignore upper / lower case, spaces and dashes. One code per bill.
- A use is reserved when the code goes on a bill and confirmed at payment; voiding the bill, removing the code or refunding the whole bill gives it back. An open bill that is never paid keeps its reservation until it is voided.
- Below its minimum spend the code stays on the bill at 0 and comes back when the bill qualifies; paid while it takes nothing, it does not count as used.
- A code's days and times are judged when it is entered; editing or pausing the promotion later never changes a code already on a bill.
- After several wrong codes on the QR page the guest is asked to wait a moment before trying again.
- A bill with a code cannot be split or merged: remove the code first, then enter it again on the new bill.
- The end-of-shift report and the audit summary show code discounts apart from staff discounts and bill offers.
Buy X get Y and combo prices (sets)
Create a promotion and choose "Buy X get Y": pick the items or categories in it, enter how many to buy and how many the guest gets, and the percent off the extra units (100 = free). The extra units are the cheapest qualifying units on the bill, and it repeats for every complete set (buy 2 get 1 = every 3). Or choose "Combo price (set)": add the parts of the set (one item, or any item of a category, with a quantity) and the price per set; every complete set on the bill gets the combo price. The discount appears by itself as its own line under the items, with no PIN.
Steps
- Open Settings › Promotions, tap "New promotion" and choose "Buy X get Y" or "Combo price (set)"
- Buy X get Y: choose the items, buy, get and the percent off. Combo: add the parts of the set and the price per set
- Optionally set the most times per bill, choose the days, times, branches and channels, then tap "Save promotion"
Good to know
- The time is judged when each item is ordered: a drink ordered after the window ends is not part of the deal.
- An item unit takes one deal at most; when several deals could apply, the one that saves more comes first. Options (toppings) stay full price.
- An item already at a promo price joins only when both promotions can be combined. Against a coupon, game reward or code that cannot be combined with it, the guest gets whichever saves more, never both.
- A bill with a buy X get Y or combo deal cannot be split equally: split it by items, or split the payment at checkout.
- The cashier can tap "Remove" on a deal line with no PIN (for example the guest does not want the free item). It does not come back by itself when items are added, and later returns are priced without it. Tap "Put back" to use it again.
- When some items are returned, what the guest keeps is priced again: return the paid item and the kept free one is back at its normal price (taken off the refund); returning only the free item refunds nothing. The screen shows the exact refund before you confirm.
- Editing, pausing or deleting the promotion later never changes a paid bill. Delivery-app orders never get it.
Let AI draft a promotion
When creating a promotion, describe it in a sentence, for example "10% off every Monday 14:00-17:00 for bills over 300", and tap "Draft with AI". The form is filled in as a draft with a list of points to check; nothing is saved until you tap "Save promotion" yourself.
Good to know
- Available when AI is on for the store and the account can use the AI assistant; AI credits apply as usual. When AI is unavailable, fill in the form yourself.
- The AI sees only your text and the names of your menu items and categories, never prices or costs.
Combining with coupons and other discounts
Each promotion has a "Can be combined with other discounts" switch, off by default. While it is off, the promotion is not combined with others: on a bill with both promo-price items and a bill offer the guest gets whichever saves more, never both (with both switches on, the guest gets both), and it does not go with a QR game coupon or game reward. A discount given by staff is still allowed within their permission and approval limit, and checkout says the bill already has a promotion.
Edit, pause or delete a promotion
Tap "Edit" to change the rule, "Pause" to set it aside, or "Delete" to remove it. Every change applies only to items rung up afterwards; items already on a bill keep their price, and every change is recorded.
See how a promotion did
"Promotion results" on the Promotions page shows the last 30 days for each promotion: bills, items, what the guests saved and the sales of the promo-priced items, from closed bills.
