QR self-order at the table
Create and print a QR code for each table so customers can see the menu and order themselves, revoke an old QR that got out, optionally let customers pay by PromptPay, and turn on waiting games with rewards by score.
Create and print a table QR
On Settings › QR self-order, in the Table QR codes section, choose the table and the link lifetime (1 day, 7 days, 30 days or Never expires), then tap Create QR link. Tap Print QR code to print it for the table, or Copy link. Tap Preview the customer page to try ordering first.
Steps
- Open Settings › QR self-order and pick the Table QR codes section
- Choose the table and the link lifetimeFor a table sticker choose Never expires so it never needs reprinting
- Tap Create QR link, then Print QR code or Copy link
Good to know
- No tables yet? Add tables on the store and branch settings page first.
- You can create a new QR at any time; old ones keep working until they expire or are revoked.
Revoke a table's old QR
If a QR got out or someone photographed it, tap Revoke this table's old QR codes, then Revoke and issue a new QR. Every QR ever issued for that table stops working at once, including printed stickers; print the new one and replace them.
What the customer does
The customer scans and the store's menu opens without logging in. Orders become that table's bill on the POS and appear on the kitchen display as usual. Another round from the same table is added to the table's open bill.
Good to know
- Customers cannot give discounts, void or refund from the QR page; staff do that on the POS.
Let customers pay through the QR
The QR payment section says whether customers pay by themselves or at the counter. With QR self-payment switched on, customers can view the bill and pay by PromptPay from the QR page. The PromptPay account must first be complete on Settings › Payment methods.
Waiting games and rewards by score
The Waiting games section lets customers play a short game while the food is on its way. Choose which of the 20 games they can pick (filter by kind, or show only the new ones) and tap Try it to play one yourself first. In Rewards by score, set what a score earns. Every game uses the same score scale, and customers can play only while their bill is open.
Steps
- Open the Waiting games section and turn on the game
- Choose the games customers can playTap Try it to play a game yourself first; nothing is saved
- Go to Rewards by score and set the reward tiers, or tap Use the suggested set
Receipt game for a next-visit coupon
For counter sales where the customer gets the goods at once; QR ordering is not needed. The Receipt game section prints a QR at the bottom of every paid receipt. The customer scans it and can play until midnight of the day they bought. The reward is a next-visit coupon only, one reward per bill. Set the minimum bill total for a QR (0 = every bill). Receipts print the QR only once at least one coupon reward tier exists. If the bill is voided or fully refunded, an unused coupon is cancelled. Next time, enter the coupon code when the customer pays.
Steps
- Open the Receipt game section and turn on Print the game QR on receipts
- Enter the minimum bill totalEnter 0 to give every bill a QR
- Go to Rewards by score and set at least one coupon reward tier
When the QR does not open
Check that QR self-order is switched on (the owner can do it in Settings › Store features), that the link has not expired or been revoked, and that the table still exists. If it expired or the table changed, create a new QR instead of editing the link by hand.
