Record GrabFood / LINE MAN / ShopeeFood / Robinhood orders from a photo
Photograph the order screen in the merchant app, let AI turn it into a bill, check and confirm. The bill goes to the kitchen, is closed as paid in app, and the same order cannot be entered twice.
Record an order from a photo
On the POS, tap Delivery order, pick the app the order came from, then take or choose ONE photo of the order screen. AI reads the order number, items, quantities, options, notes and the prices the app charged, and matches them to your menu. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
Steps
- Tap Delivery order in the POS top bar and pick the app
- Take or choose a photo of the order screen in the merchant appKeep the order number and every line in one photo
- Check every line, pick a menu item for any line without one, then tap Confirm and send to the kitchen
Good to know
- A credit-first store uses about 0.2 credit per photo (not more than 1); a photo that cannot be read is not charged
- The photo is not stored. A pickup name that was read is shown for checking with the rider only and is never saved on the bill
Key it in when AI is off or the photo cannot be read
Tap Key the order in for the same draft screen: pick the menu items, enter quantities and the app's prices, then type the order number. When AI is off, out of credit or cannot read the photo, this draft opens for you to finish by hand.
Prices, payment and tax
Prices start as what the app charged on the photo and can be edited; a badge shows the difference when it is not the store's price for that app (or the regular price). The app has already collected the money, so the bill is closed as paid in app and is never counted as cash in the drawer at shift close. VAT works as on any bill. Sales per app show in the payment-mix report.
Good to know
- The app's commission is not deducted on the bill; reconcile it with the app's payout later
No double entry, and remembered matches
The same order from the same app can be recorded once; entering it again shows which bill it already is. Short order numbers (8 characters or fewer) are checked against today only, because the apps reuse short numbers. Someone with menu permission can tick Remember this match so the item is picked automatically next time.
