Find pages, switch branch and fix common problems
How to get to the page you need, why a menu item is missing, how to switch branch, and what to check before pressing again when a page hangs or the connection drops.
Why a menu item is missing or a page will not open
A missing menu item usually has one of two causes. The account's role is not allowed to use that page: ask the owner or an administrator to check the role's permissions. Or the store has not switched the feature on: the owner can switch it on in Settings › Store features. Some pages are for the owner only, such as AI connectors.
Good to know
- Ask the AI assistant in BoxBak help; the answer says which permission or feature is missing.
Switch branch
Choose the branch in Active branch at the bottom of the left menu, or in the More menu on a phone. It appears when the account can use two or more branches. After you choose, the page reloads with that branch's data; check the branch name on the page before every transaction.
Good to know
- If you see Could not switch branch, you are still on the previous branch.
- Do not keep tabs open on different branches while handling money or stock.
Page stuck or offline: fix it without doing things twice
Check the connection badge in the left menu, such as Online, Offline or waiting to sync. When a page hangs or the connection drops, stop pressing the button again, check the record's history or status first, then refresh, especially for payments, receiving, stock transfers and approvals. If it is still wrong, report the problem with the page, the time and the error message.
Help center, the ? button and the glossary
Press Help at the bottom of the left menu to open the help center: a guide for every page grouped like the menu, searchable in Thai and English, with a Report a problem link on every page. The ? button beside a page title opens that page's guide directly. Words with an i icon or a dotted underline, such as FEFO, par level or COGS, explain themselves in plain language when you tap them, and the glossary page lists them all. Some guides include a short demo clip.
Good to know
- The help center can be read without signing in. When you are signed in, Go to this page buttons appear for the pages your account can open.
