My money: a private income and spending diary
Staff record their own income and spending, see a summary per pay period, set budgets and savings goals, and see how much they can spend per day until payday. The owner and managers cannot see it.
Getting started and who can see it
Open My money and tap Get started. The data belongs to that employee alone: the owner, managers and the BoxBak team cannot open it. It is not part of the store's reports, accounts or data exports, the AI assistant cannot see it, and it does not appear in the store's activity history.
Add, edit and delete entries
Tap Add entry, choose Spending, Income or Savings, enter the amount, pick a category and date, and save. Tap an entry on the Entries tab to edit or delete it; if you delete by mistake, tap Undo straight away. Add your own categories or hide unused ones on the Settings tab.
Steps
- Tap Add entry
- Choose the type and enter the amount
- Choose the category and dateDates after today are not allowed.
- Tap Save
Pay periods and money per day
Set your pay cycle on the Settings tab (by calendar month, once a month on a chosen date, twice a month, or every week). Overview sums income, spending and savings for the period, compares it with the last period, and shows how much you can spend per day until payday.
Budgets, savings goals and recurring items
The Plan tab sets a budget per period, savings goals and recurring items such as rent, phone or installments. When a recurring item is due it appears on Overview, and one tap records it.
My payslips
When the store runs payroll, the Payslips tab shows your own payslips from closed periods only. For a paid payslip, tap Add as income once to record the net pay. If no payslip shows, check that your account is linked to an employee profile and that the period is closed.
Export and delete your data
The Settings tab has Export all my data (CSV), which opens in Excel, and Delete all my data, which is permanent and cannot be undone. Both work even if the store switches this feature off. When an employee leaves, their data is deleted automatically within 30 days.
