My account: PIN, recovery email, OTP and LINE
The My account page shows your own details and lets you change your display name, set or change your PIN, verify your recovery email and connect LINE for OTP codes, without touching anyone else's access or data.
Personal details and display name
The Personal details card shows your sign-in username, role and permissions, position, branch and employee code. Tap Edit name to change the display name shown on bills, schedules and the team list yourself. For your email, position or branch, ask whoever manages your store's team.
Set or change your own PIN
This PIN confirms it is you when approving something above the approval ceiling, such as refunds, voids or discounts, and signs you in on a shop terminal that uses PIN login. You first confirm with your password or current PIN, then set the new PIN.
Steps
- Choose Verify with password or Verify with current PIN and enter it
- Enter a new PIN of 6 or more digits twiceAvoid sequences such as 123456 and repeats such as 111111.
- Tap Set PIN or Change PIN
Good to know
- An approver without a PIN cannot authorise anything above the ceiling.
Verify your recovery email and forgotten passwords
Tap Send verification code and enter the 6-digit code from the email before it expires. Once verified, the email can recover your password through the Forgot password? link on the sign-in page and can receive OTP codes. An unverified email cannot receive these codes. If the account has no email, ask whoever manages your store's team to add one.
Good to know
- If the code is wrong or expired, tap Send a new code and use the latest one. After too many requests you must wait a moment.
- This page has no change-password button. If you forget your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page, or ask the team admin to reset it when the store uses username sign-in.
OTP codes at sign-in
When the owner turns on two-step verification, owner and manager accounts enter an OTP code after the password. The code goes by LINE if LINE is connected and verified, otherwise by email. Without LINE and without an email, the account cannot sign in. Staff who sign in with their name and PIN on a shop terminal do not need OTP.
Good to know
- Never share an OTP code with anyone.
- The owner switches two-step verification on or off in Settings › Store features.
Remembered devices
With two-step verification on, a device where the owner or a manager has already completed a full sign-in is remembered, and OTP is asked only when signing in from a new device. To be asked for OTP every time, the owner can switch off the remember-device option in Settings › Store features.
Connect LINE to receive OTP codes
The Connect LINE card appears when the store uses two-step verification. Tap Connect LINE: the store's app opens in LINE, where you add the store's LINE account as a friend and enter your username and PIN to prove the account is yours. Once verified, OTP codes arrive in LINE chat instead of email. If the card says Not verified yet, tap Verify in LINE.
Good to know
- If the store has not set LINE up yet, the owner or a manager sets it up in Settings › LINE integration first.
- Tap Disconnect LINE to go back to receiving codes by email.
