Store notification channels and emailing purchase orders to suppliers
Choose whether the store's alerts, such as low stock and items close to expiry, go to email or the store's LINE OA, and email purchase orders straight to the supplier.
Where the store's alerts go
Until you set anything, BoxBak's shared channel is used as before. This page lets the store choose its own channel for two things: store alerts, and purchase orders to suppliers. Each part shows whether it uses the shared channel or the store's channel.
Good to know
- If Notification channels is not in your settings, it is not enabled for your store and alerts keep going through BoxBak's shared channel.
Send store alerts to email or LINE
"Store alerts" covers low stock, items close to expiry, and LINE chats that need a person. Send them by email to up to 10 addresses, or through the store's LINE OA to the staff you choose.
Steps
- Under "Store alerts", tick "Use this channel"
- Choose Email or The store's LINE OA
- Enter recipient emails, or choose the staff who get LINE alerts
- Tap "Save"
Good to know
- LINE works once the Messaging channel is set on the Connect LINE page, and only staff with a linked LINE account are listed.
Email purchase orders to suppliers
With "Purchase orders to suppliers" on, "Send to supplier" on a purchase order emails the supplier's saved address and replies come back to the store. Purchase orders can only be sent by email.
Steps
- Tick "Use this channel" under "Purchase orders to suppliers"
- Enter the reply-to email (required) and any addresses to copy (optional)
- Add a sender name if you like, then tap "Save"
- Check that each supplier has an email address saved
Good to know
- A supplier without an email is sent the old way.
- Stores with a Resend account and the reply-to domain verified can add their Resend key; email is then sent from the store's reply-to address. While the system has no shared sender for store email, an email channel needs this key to send, and the page says "Saved, but not sending yet" with the reason.
Go back to BoxBak's shared channel
Tap "Stop using the store's channel" on the part you want; it goes back to BoxBak's shared channel. Unticking "Use this channel" pauses that part and uses the shared channel meanwhile.
