Quantity prices and customer price levels at the POS
Set quantity prices (each unit cheaper from 10) and customer price levels such as Wholesale or VIP, then pick the customer on the bill at the POS. The whole line is priced by its quantity.
Set quantity prices
On the menu page tap "Wholesale prices", find the item and tap "Set wholesale prices". Enter from how many units each one costs what, for example from 10 units at 45 baht; add as many steps as you need. When a bill line reaches the quantity, the whole line takes that price, and it goes back up if the quantity drops.
Steps
- Open the menu page and tap "Wholesale prices"
- Find the item, tap "Set wholesale prices", and enter the starting quantity and the price per unit
- Tap "Save"
Good to know
- A price for everyone starts at 2 units; one unit is the menu price.
- If the item also has a promotion, the lower of the wholesale price and the promo price is used.
- To sell by the case or pack, add a separate "case" menu item whose recipe uses the number of units in the case; stock is deducted by the units.
Customer price levels (Wholesale / VIP)
Add a price level such as "Wholesale", then set that level's price on each item (choose the level under "For"; it can start at 1 unit). At the bottom of the page choose which level each wholesale customer gets.
Good to know
- Deleting a level removes its prices on every item and returns its customers to the menu price. Bills already sold do not change.
Use it at the POS
On an open bill tap "Customer / price" and pick the wholesale customer. The bill is priced at that customer's level straight away and every line with a wholesale price changes. The strip shows how many more units reach the next price, and a line on a wholesale price shows "Wholesale 10+" with the menu price struck through.
Good to know
- Picking a price level by hand without a customer needs the discount permission.
- Selling on account (credit) from the POS and a minimum order are not built yet.
